Some people might feel as though they can’t wear pastel colors due to their skin tone because it washes them out or they aren’t sure how to make their style work. I’m here to tell you that it’s totally possible to look and feel good while wearing pastel colors, whether you wear them as an outfit piece, accessory or accent color.
These beautiful hues are often associated with luxury, femininity, and playfulness, so it is no wonder that we gravitate towards them and want to add these colors to our look! Inspired by Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and real women just like you, these tips will surely get you excited for warmer weather and spring and summer fashion.
Tip 1 - Go Monochrome
Select one color and stick with it throughout your outfit.
Tip 2 - Mix Pastels
Pastels look better together, so selecting jewelry or clothing that has multiple pastel colors together creates a harmonious, luxurious look.
Tip 3 - Pastels with Neutrals
Pair pastels with neutrals instead of a bold, jarring color. Let the pastel color be soft but stand out next to a hint of neutral.
Tip 4 - Pastels with Brights
Wear pastels with brights. Tone down your bright, bold clothes with pastel jewelry and accessories for a sophisticated style.
